Celebrating California's Incredible Biodiversity September 7 through September 15

September 7 is California Biodiversity Day, a week to celebrate our state's status as a global biodiversity hotspot and encourage actions to protect its natural treasures. Events take place September 7 through September 15, hosted by state and federal agencies, tribes, local communities, NGOs, museums, zoos, and universities, all working to connect people with the incredible diversity of life here in California.

  • Details: Join a community effort to catalog and document the biodiversity along Coyote Creek Trail. Experts will guide participants through the diverse plants and wildlife. Bring your smartphone with the iNaturalist app and enjoy a family-friendly tour. Community service hours available.

Biodiversity Nature Walk at Chaney Trail (Sold Out)
