Florida’s Environmental Regulatory Commission votes to adopt California’s auto-emission standards

In a big win for everybody, and everything in Florida that breathes air, today the Environmental Regulatory Commission voted 6-1 to adopt new emission standards for cars and light trucks based on California's emission standards. As readers of this blog know, ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ of Florida has been working hard for the adoption of these new standards, which, if ratified by the Florida Legislature in March, will go a long way toward helping reduce the global warming pollution currently spewing from the tailpipes of our vehicles.
