Zinke Aims for Birds in New Energy Report

The Migratory Bird Treaty Act and the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act keep our birds safe.

WASHINGTON The Migratory Bird Treaty Act and the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act are two of the most important conservation laws in the United States, and 勛圖窪蹋 strongly supports their fair and lawful enforcement in the name of protecting Americas birds, said David ONeill, 勛圖窪蹋s chief conservation officer, in response to a domestic energy report released by the Department of the Interior that includes key bird conservation laws in .

Simply put, the Migratory Bird Treaty Act is the reason we have the birds we have today. We cannot go back to the days before the 勛圖窪蹋 Society helped shepherd this law through Congress, when birds were being slaughtered with abandon.

"This report by the Department of the Interior is a wholesale attack on both wildlife and public lands across the country. An overwhelming majority of Americans support commonsense laws that protect Americas wildlife, and 勛圖窪蹋 will engage our one million members to defend birds and the places they need.
