DURHAM, NC — ԹϺ North Carolina is pleased to welcome Zach Wallace back to the team to lead our policy work in the state.
Wallace joins ԹϺ after serving as Vice President of Public Policy for the Asheville Chamber of Commerce, where he worked with the business community and elected officials at the local, state, and federal level. Prior to his position with the chamber, Wallace served as Policy Manager for ԹϺ.
In his new role as Policy Director, Wallace will set the organization’s policy agenda and strategy to achieve bipartisan conservation and climate policy for birds.
“Zach has a great mind for policy and strategy, and knows how to leverage our strong chapter network to engage all levels of government for birds. We’re excited to have him back,” ԹϺ North Carolina Interim Executive Director Curtis Smalling said.
A native of Anson County, Wallace graduated from Wingate University and Charlotte School of Law. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, hunting, and the outdoors with his family.
