John Rowden

John was senior director for Bird-friendly Communities from 2019 to 2022. His work at ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, which began in 2009, focused on making our communities better and safer for birds and expanding ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ’s urban conservation efforts, personally and through ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ’s extensive national network and programs like Plants for Birds and Bird-friendly Buildings. He earned his PhD in Zoology from Duke University.
