Lauren Bourg is an accomplished environmental leader with over a decade of experience at the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, specializing in coastal policy, communications, and advocacy. With two decades as a strategic communications professional, Lauren excels in building and enhancing initiatives that foster support, funding, and public engagement for coastal restoration and conservation efforts across Louisiana and the Gulf.

In her role, Lauren strengthens and expands ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ and MRD’s coastal restoration strategy, effectively engaging policymakers and the public in critical restoration initiatives. Her deep understanding of both conservation and communications allows her to bridge gaps between stakeholders, ensuring a cohesive approach to environmental challenges.

A graduate of LSU Manship School of Mass Communication, Lauren’s robust leadership and communication skills have positioned her as a key advocate for restoring and conserving the Mississippi River Delta.
