Shabina N. Bahl serves as ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ’s Chief Development Officer. In this role Shabina leads principal, leadership, and major gifts with individuals as well as institutional partnerships, planned giving, and corporate philanthropy from the organization’s Washington, DC office.
Prior to joining ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ in 2025, Shabina served as Chief Advancement Officer at the Sierra Club, where she oversaw the final phase of a $1 billion comprehensive campaign. During her tenure, Shabina helped raise more than $250 million across a wide range of priorities including clean energy and conservation. Earlier, as the inaugural Vice President for Philanthropic Partnerships at The Pew Charitable Trusts, she focused on building the fundraising teams for all of Pew’s programs and launched Pew’s principal and planned giving programs. Shabina spent nearly 15 years at Johns Hopkins Medicine and University prior to her foray into public charities. She shaped and executed the James Buchanan Brady Urological Institute’s $115 million campaign and secured transformational directorships and professorships for the institution. Shabina has a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor’s degree from Chatham College. She lives in Lowes Island, Virginia with her family.
