About the Constitution Marsh ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Center and Sanctuary

Constitution Marsh ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Center and Sanctuary, owned by New York State Parks and managed by ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ New York,  is a unique and beautiful tidal marsh located in Putnam County, New York, and serves as vital natural habitat in the Hudson River Estuary. It is situated on the east shore of the Hudson River, just south of the village of Cold Spring. The marsh is an ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ New York Important Bird Area, a , and is designated as a Significant Coastal Fish and Wildlife Habitat.

Constitution Marsh ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Center and Sanctuary serves as the hub of our four Hudson River ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Sanctuaries. We conduct conservation education programs for public and private groups, participate in regional and hemispheric bird studies, and take an active part in regional invasive species management and habitat restoration efforts.
