Join Our Mission

There are many ways volunteers can support ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ at Rio Salado. Whether you are looking for a one-time volunteer opportunity to give back for a day, or a longer-term position for more lasting impact, we have a volunteer opportunity for you. Opportunities include:

• Habitat Volunteering: Join a Habitat Restoration Day or help with planting, trail upkeep or invasive plant removal.
• Education Volunteer: Experienced teachers and naturalists are always welcome to help our educators lead programs at the center.
• Volunteer Nature Guides: Want to share your passion for birds or nature with others? We're always looking to expand our amazing volunteer guide team to create more opportunities for the public to connect with nature.
• Event Volunteer: We host a number of larger community events throughout the year, and always need some extra hands to help out.
• General Volunteering: From one-off volunteering events to recuring office jobs, we can always use some help around the center for odd jobs, spring cleanings and other admin tasks that arise.
• Volunteer, Volunteer Coordinator: Want to have a really big impact? We're actively seeking a volunteer, Volunteer Coordinator to help us build out our volunteer support base.
