The Sharon ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Center is an education center and nature sanctuary that is situated on 1,147 acres of mostly forest and includes 11 miles of trails and two ponds. Our main visitor center building houses a small a small natural history museum and the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Nature Store. The immediate grounds include raptor aviaries, a pollinator garden, native plant gardens, and a working sugarhouse (formerly an ice house).
The Sharon ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Center is home to a number of non-releasable birds. The majority of the birds are housed in large outside, predator-proof aviaries, filled with natural vegetation and various perching options. The birds serve as education ambassadors for their species, accompanying ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ staff to education programs at schools, community events, and other venues—teaching thousands of people about the importance of protecting these amazing animals and their natural habitats.
Sharon ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Center has many options for visitors, including birding, hiking trails, school programs, and learning about wildlife rehabilitation.
