Wildlife Rehabilitation Volunteer

Become an integral part of the life-saving work we do in Sharon ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Center’s . Work alongside clinic staff and other volunteers to provide essential care and treatment to nearly 1,000 sick, injured, and orphans admitted into rehabilitation every year. Our volunteers provide hands-on support for and work with a variety of native Connecticut wildlife, focusing on birds from hummingbirds to eagles, ducklings to owls, and songbirds to herons! No previous experience required. We ask that prospective volunteers agree to:
- Be at least 15 years of age.
- Provide your own transportation to the Sharon ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Center.
- Arrive prepared to work your shift during all seasons.
- Volunteer one shift/week for a minimum of six months, unless otherwise agreed upon with the Wildlife Rehabilitator.
